In this case study, we highlight our collaboration with Brødrene Ulveseth AS on the Castbergkvartalet project in the heart of Bergen, Norway. This project clearly demonstrates how non-invasive GPR scanning can streamline construction processes and reduce unnecessary demolition work.

Project Background

When Brødrene Ulveseth needed to document and map the rebar in the basement floor under the Football Pub in Bergen city center, the traditional approach would have involved breaking up the concrete, which is time-consuming and expensive. Instead, our ground-penetrating radar (GPR) technology provided a non-invasive solution, enabling precise rebar mapping without demolition.
